How to defeat the justiciar in Avengers BG3? ›

For this fight, it is recommended to use Radiant spells, which the Dark Justiciars are vulnerable to. Spells like Spirit Guardians will work tremendously well here. Use the Reconstituted Duelists as cannon fodder until the fight eventually subsides and all parties are defeated.

Justiciar Avenger is an Undead Dark Justiciar creature in Baldur's Gate 3. It can be summoned by Umbral Tremors in Balthazar's Outpost or be found in The Silent Library within the Gauntlet of Shar. It is the melee variant of the Dark Justiciar.

Hop aboard the platform, press the button on the right, and the lift will carry you down to yet another pedestal, this time needing three Gems to power it. Place all remaining Umbral Gem on the pedestal to open a secret door to the Inner Sanctum – a pool, leading to the Shadowfell.

Cast mage hand use the fly command to fly over the gate and to the other side then you can use the lever to open the gate!

Players should only really allow Nightsong to be killed in Baldur's Gate 3 if they are inclined towards an evil run or if they really want to see an evil version of Shadowheart after she becomes a Dark Justiciar. Defeating the Nightsong transforms Shadowheart into a full-fledged Dark Justiciar, automatically completing her armor set with the Dark Justiciar Gauntlets and Boots. This also transforms the Spear of Night into Shar's Spear of Evening and enhances the Half-plate from Rare to Very Rare, increasing its Armor Class.

TIP: It's useful to have Shadowheart or Astarion in your party for this journey because they will offer dialogue to provide more context to this area you're exploring. This is not a requirement, though. You'll find a gate and Arabella standing outside, yelling for her parents.

What happens if you let Balthazar take Nightsong? ›

Letting Balthazar take the Nightsong is generally a bad idea, but it will let you get away without a fight. However, Shadowheart will permanently abandon you if you choose this option. If you want to kill Balthazar, it's best to do so before entering Shar's domain.

BG3 Orthon Yurgir Dialogue Options. You can meet Orthon in the Gauntlet of Shar. Orthon Yurgir can be found in the east part of the area (X:-652 Y:-776). You can ask him to recite his contract and find the loophole in it, and deceive him into killing his own minions, even himself.

This is important and the key to our strategy for this battle, which is to lure Grym right next to the crucible, but still standing in lava, and then pull the lever to let the hammer crush him. You'll halve his 300 HP with the first blow and end his reign of terror with the second. Even Grym's gonna feel that one.
